Six people, including a teen mother and her infant child, were killed in a shooting early in the morning in central California. Deputies are seeking to find out who was responsible.
According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a house in Goshen’s 6800 Block of Harvest Road shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Monday due to numerous gunshots being heard nearby.
When they arrived, they found two victims of gunshot wounds who had passed away. Authorities discovered evidence of four more shooting victims after searching the property, according to KMPH-TV. Currently, according to investigators, this case involves at least two suspects.
According to the local ABC station, a mother who was only 17 years old and a baby who was only six months old were among those who died. Only one week had passed since the alleged narcotics search warrant-based raid on the home.
The inquiry results have led the authorities to believe that the shootings were not just random acts of violence but were related to a gang.
According to one of the local news sources, one of the six victims was still alive when the deputies arrived, but he or she passed away at the hospital shortly after.
