Devin Willock, an offensive lineman, and Chandler LeCroy, a staff member, according to the University of Georgia officials, both died in a car accident early on Sunday morning in Athens, Georgia.
The University of Georgia football team had just had a parade to celebrate winning the national championship when the crash happened.
The University of Georgia expressed sorrow on the tragic deaths of football student-athlete Devin Willock and football staff member Chandler LeCroy in a statement issued on Sunday. “Devin and Chandler were exceptional people who meant a lot to the University of Georgia, our football program, and our athletic department.
Recently, both of them passed away. We kindly ask that everyone remember their families in their prayers and thoughts at this incredibly trying time.
Two more football team members were hurt as a result of the incident, according to the school. Right now, they are both in a steady state.

According to the police, the incident happened around 2:45 in the morning in the 900 block of Barnett Shoals Road.
According to the officials, the 2021 Ford Expedition was traveling south when it went off the path and struck two power lines and numerous trees.
Willock, a 20-year-old man, was declared dead on the spot.
LeCroy, a 24-year-old man, was injured, and the Athens police department said he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
A male passenger, age 21, who suffered minor injuries, and a female passenger, age 26, who suffered severe injuries, were both involved in the accident, according to the authorities.
The university said in a statement that the “UGA Athletic Association will work with our medical team as well as our mental health and performance experts to ensure that we are offering our staff and student-athletes who are processing this tragedy the finest assistance available.” We are unable to add any more commentary at this time.
