Donald Trump is in grief over the loss of artist Diamond Lynnette Hardaway, who passed away on Monday night at the age of 51. Diamond is best known for being one half of the Diamond and Silk duo.
The “unexpected” passing of Hardaway, one of President Trump’s most devoted supporters, was described as “very horrible news for Republicans” by President Trump.
Trump lamented on Truth Social, “Really awful news for Republicans and all Americans.” Our beloved Diamond of Diamond and Silk has just passed away at her home in North Carolina, the state she adored,” we just learned.
The former President of the United States of America referred to Hardaway as “Magnificent Diamond” and stated that her sister Silk Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway, was “with her all the way and at her passing.”
Trump said, “there were no better Trump supporters anywhere or at any time than the duo.”
Concerns regarding Hardaway’s health were voiced on the duo’s official Twitter account in November.
Diamond and Silk became famous during Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016, after making headlines by switching parties from being lifetime Democrats to staunch Republicans after Trump began his run for the White House the previous year.
During Trump’s stint as commander-in-chief, the vloggers rose to prominence on social media. They became regular guests on Fox News, making appearances with Trump even in the Oval Office.

Back in November, when Hardaway’s health was causing worry, the duo’s official Twitter account appealed to their followers to pray for her.

The tweet asked, “Anyone who believes in the power of prayer, please pray for Diamond,” but the rationale behind the abrupt request was never explained.
In 2018, the couple claimed that Facebook had labeled as “unsafe” some videos they had posted that praised President Trump. Apologies were sent to them by the social media platform a number of months later.
Back in 2020, the Fox News positions held by the sisters were terminated because of their promotion of COVID-19 conspiracy theories. They also asserted live on air that the death toll statistics associated with the virus were being fabricated in order to damage Trump’s reputation.
