Jean Paré Death : Canadian cookbook has passed away in Edmonton at age 95.

Beloved Canadian Cookbook author Jean Paré has passed away, according to the following statement posted on social media.

Jean Pare is a Canadian caterer, author of a cookbook series, and founder of Company’s Coming Publishing Limited, Jean Paré, CM was born  (December 7, 1927 December 24, 2022) .
She died passed away on December 24. 2022.
As of 2011, she was one of the best selling cookbook authors worldwide, with 30 million copies. 
Before her retirement in 2011, she produced more than 200 cookbooks. 
She was awarded member of the Order of Canada in 2004, which is the country’s highest civilian honor.

I grew up with Company’s Coming Cookbooks at home, relatives houses, libraries, garage sales, etc… but never knew that the author was a Canadian, let alone from Alberta. Jean Paré‘s legacy will live on through us all in what she taught us, and delicious food.
