Oh my heart is simply crushed tonite after learning that my sweet and dear friend, Nick Chavez Beverly Hills has died from pancreatic cancer.I met Nick in 1994 and we had a fun friendship and a mutual respect and admiration for each other from day 1.His heart and spirit and the twinkle in his eyes gave me such joy. When I told him I was leaving QVC, he gave me the biggest hug and told me he knew I was destined for bigger things and that my light was ready for a bigger stage. I never forgot that conversation, and when I was booked for my first segment on the Today show, Nick was one of the first people I told. He continued to send me texts cheering me on.What keeps coming to mind is that I just adored him. Adored. He was one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. My condolences to his family and his team.Rest easy my dear Nick. I’ll miss you so much.

I cried when I read Nick had passed. He was so much fun to watch. I always watched when he had a show. I remember when he slapped and fell on set. He never stopped selling. Rest in peace, Nick.
So very sorry to hear this news. Condolences to your friend of numerous years, his family, and many fans of his and his Qvc family. I remember watching him for many years on qvc. My sister was a big fan of his and his hair care products on the show for years before she passed away several years earlier.
So very sorry. Nick was a wonderful man. I had the opportunity once to speak to him while he was on the air, and he made me feel so special while talking with you. He was a great hairdresser.
I feel your sadness, Mary Beth. Although I didn’t know him personally through QVC, I felt like I did and didn’t want to believe it when I saw this news. What a loss for all of us.
My mother and I used to love to watch him. He was so entertaining and charismatic. May his beautiful soul rest in peace.
I am so sorry to hear this & I am sorry for your loss Mary Beth. You two were a great team. I used some of his products & loved watching him style hair on the Q.
So sorry for your loss. I used to enjoy watching him; he was so enthusiastic but calming. I was wondering why we hadn’t seen him. My prayers to Nick’s family and friends!
Mary Beth Roe QVC, I AM Sending Big Condolences to you! I remember watching him from QVC as often as possible. I never got a chance to experience his haircare products. You can tell he was a Master Stylist who took pride and concern for his clients. He will be richly Missed!!!.
I was thinking about you, Mary Beth Roe QVC, and how much I used to love watching you and Nick together!! You were always a fun a lively duo, and I miss the old days of QVC! How incredibly sad I didn’t know he was sick. His QVC family will miss him dearly and will never forget him and his flock!
