The music group released successful hit singles, including We, Come to one and Insomnia; the two singles riched top third in 2011 and 1996.
Among those who paid tribute to Faithless over the death of Maxi Jazz are the reggae music band UB40.
Recall that UB40 toured with Faithless in 2017, and the two bands recorded massive success in that collaboration that lasted two years.
We have just sadly learned of the passing of Maxi Jazz.
Best known for being the lead vocalist in Electronic band ‘Faithless’. Maxi toured with us back in 2017 with his band ‘Maxi Jazz & the E-Type Boys’.

WHO WAS MAXI JAZZ?
Mazi was a native of Brixton; he started playing music at an early age and pioneered a band called Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys. He released several singles with his premier band before joining Faithless. One of the singles he removed with his first bank is called Soul Food Cafe.
The group Faithless became an Iconic music name in the United Kingdom in the 9o’s and even gained more audience and followers in the early 2000s.
In 2016 Maxi Jazz headlined the MTV stage at V Festival, and his group Faithless also headlined several music festivals worldwide. One of those festivals was the world-renowned Glastonbury Music Festival.
Faithless was also nominated in the United Kingdom for Best UK Dance act at Brit Awards in the years 199 and 2002.
Unfortunately, the beloved bank split for reasons not known in 2011. After the break, one of the members of the defunct group went ahead to form the now reigning Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys.
An attempt to reunite the group in 2021 was unsuccessful ten years after their split.
