The House Ways and Means Committee has Voted to release Donald Trump‘s tax returns to the Public, and Republicans are pissed,

The House Ways and Means Committee HAS VOTED TO RELEASE TRUMP’S TAX RETURNS TO THE PUBLIC.
House Ways and Means says of Trump’s tax returns that “there was only one mandatory audit started and none completed during his four years in office,” which started April 3, 2019 — though Trump claimed for years beforehand he was constantly under audit.
House panel votes to make Trump’s tax returns public, a move the former president long resisted. The 24-16 vote capped a protracted legal and political battle pitting Democrats against Donald Trump, who falsely claimed he could not release his taxes while he was under a “routine audit” by the IRS.

“Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-Mass.) defended the move, insisting that “This is not about being punitive. This is not about being malicious.”
It’s required by law to have the president’s tax returns go through a full audit. You know whose taxes didn’t get audited as required by law, Trump. He installed his buddy as head of the treasury dept and was never audited.

I just read & it confirms the IRS is a snake. IRS never audited Trump’s tax returns where. There was a policy presidents were to have a mandatory audit of their tax returns in the first 2 yrs. of office.
Please pay attention, Biden released 24 years of tax returns, and Hunter, like it or not, is a private citizen. If he had to be removed, then so are yours. What are all you Repugnant’s afraid of? That everyone will know Trump’s s fraud. New Yorkers have known that for four years!

Out of all the stuff, I hope and pray to Trump….his tax returns rank so low on the list. It’s a joke. Trump told us while debating Hilary he doesn’t pay taxes. But what he’s hiding is his net worth. He’s never been a billionaire for an hour.

So the Republicans have their drawers in a knot over the disclosure of Trump’s tax returns—-something Trump has been promising since 2015 but never delivered.——- ‘Let’s do that!’ Internet cheers Republican warning that Supreme Court Justice.

Some have floated the idea of reading Trump’s tax return on the House floor and hoping the Speech and Debate Clause will cover it, but it’s unlikely they will go that route.

 

I hope the public realizes the tax code protects everyone’s tax returns. It took the Supreme Court & Congress to release them, not the IRS. Of course, Trump could have done it voluntarily like all his predecessors.

Americans thank Rep Richard Neal and his colleagues on the House Ways and Means Committee for voting to make Trump’s tax returns public. Trump continued to lie about releasing his tax returns, but the Democratic-controlled House Ways and Means Committee made casting them to happen.
