That’s sickening. Somebody knows who was driving that car and they need to come forward with that info.
To put that comment in perspective, Chicago is not in the top 20 cities of murder rates. That’s false narrative fed to certain groups from the right.

So the dash camera footage came from a cop car? If that’s the case how come the cop didn’t pursue the vehicle that he struck the individuals. I’m confused if that’s a cop car dash cam

This looks like security cam footage in this video. Not dash cam unless the car was on top of a building.
Did the driver flash their headlights while approaching? While acknowledging how terrible it is, has anybody considered, no matter how unlikely, that the driver felt like it was a trap, and then panicked? There are an awful lot of car jackings and shootings happening these days…

Did you even watch the video…? In the closeup video, you can hear the driver accelerating towards them. The other angle confirms it. That driver made a choice to hit those people ON PURPOSE. They weren’t trapped or afraid.

Even if they were afraid, there’s no one behind them. Makes a hell of a lot more sense to me to reverse/get out of the situation than to accelerate straight into the crowd of people you’re supposedly “trapped” by…
The sad and disappointing responses to this post show that many in America are irredeemable. If we don’t care about others then we are lost as a country.
Looks intentional but could be high and drunk just left a bar driving in excess of 100 mph. Possible they were so out if it that they didn’t notice till they hit them but sure didn’t stop or slow down.
